There are plenty of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinics out there in Singapore with different focus and quality of service. A common question general public has is : How to check if a TCM Physician is registered with Ministry of Health Singapore (MOH).
TCM Physicians are regulated by a statutory board under MOH, called Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB). TCM is a regulated industry in Singapore. Registered physicians have to go through stringent academic/practical training as well as an exam, in order to be registered.
To check if a physician is registered, you can go to TCMPB's portal to do a search. This will show the Physician's qualification, date and type of registration and primary place of practice.
To choose the best TCM Physician for your needs, registration status is the bare minimum to ensure professionalism.
